Luca Pronzati
Chief Digital Technology Officer
Luca Pronzati is the “Chief Digital & Technology Officer” of MSC Cruises. He has more than 20 years of experience in the cruise industry, having worked for several different brands such as Carnival Corporation, Aida Cruises and Costa Cruises, holding different roles and responsibilities with a broad spectrum of business and operations coverage.
He is a Seasoned Keynote Speaker and Digital Transformation & Innovation Influencer in several worldwide events.
In his current role, Mr. Pronzati is responsible for leading a very large dynamic team of internal and external digital professionals, encompassing a diverse set of skills ranging between business and organization, cutting-edge technological and technical expertise. Such a perfect mix of human capabilities and complementary experiences represents the key strategic enabler to successfully manage the existing key revenues generation sales channels. He is also responsible to shaping the evolution of the MSC Cruises MarTech ecosystem, towards the collective mission to transform MSC Cruises into a Direct-to-Consumer Company, contributing to strategically support its growth and consolidating its leadership position.
Mr. Pronzati holds a master’s degree in electronic engineering and further degrees in Financial, Business and Marketing trainings attended at SDA Bocconi and other top-class business institutes. He began his career in the 2000s at Siemens Telco Mobile Division at their German Headquarters, and then moved to Postel to lead the international expansion in foreign countries such as Russia and Brazil, before joining Carnival Corporation & Plc in 2003. In 2012, he joined MSC Cruises, recruited by the Executive Chairman, to orchestrate the “MSC 3.0 Enterprise Transformation Program” targeting millions of euros of investments optimization and consolidation.
